CHANDIGARH: A woman pilgrim from Punjab did not return from Pakistan after participating in celebrations of the 556th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, sources from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) told news agency PTI. The woman, identified as Sarbjit Kaur, is a resident of Amanipur village in Kapurthala district. She was part of a 'jatha' of over 1,900 Sikh members who crossed into Pakistan on 4 November through the Attari-Wagah border. The group had gone to participate in the 'Parkash Purb' celebrations at Gurdwara Nankana Sahib and visit other important Sikh shrines. While most pilgrims returned to India on Thursday night, Kaur was reportedly not among them, SGPC sources added. Immigration authorities in Pakistan have informed their Indian counterpart
