New Delhi: Delhi Police has detained three individuals, including two doctors from Haryana’s Al Falah University, for their suspected links to those involved in the car blast near the Red Fort, officials said on Saturday.
The detentions followed coordinated raids carried out on Friday night by the Delhi Police Special Cell and central agencies in Dhauj, Nuh and adjoining areas of Haryana. Sources said the Special Cell, assisted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), picked up two doctors — Mohammad and Mustakim — from Nuh. Both were reportedly in touch with Dr Muzammil Ganaie, arrested earlier in connection with the probe into a “white-collar” terror module, and were also close friends of Dr Umar Nabi, who was driving the car that exploded.
