RIVERSIDE — On a cold, rainy night across Southern California, just remember it takes two.
At Ramona High School, football coach Ken Mushinskie has a duo in the backfield of seniors Lorenzo Sims and Michael White.
Facing a one-point halftime deficit, the duo sparked a Rams’ offense that scored 35 second-half points, 28 of which came unanswered, en route to a 48-22 win over Cerritos in the CIF Southern Section Division 9 quarterfinals.
“We had three really bad snaps which came back to hurt us but after the break our offense really got going and the defense was brilliant in pitching a near shutout,” Mushinskie said. “We’re probably going to get another dose of rain next week so we’ll really emphasize ball security during the week but we know we’ve got our work cut out for us with a qualit
