EUGENE — Kenyon Sadiq felt like he was going to have a big night. The junior tight end was spot on.
Hampered by injury for most of the middle of the season, Sadiq missed last week’s win at Iowa. He was not going to be stopped Friday night against Minnesota, hauling in eight catches for 96 yards, both career-highs, along with a touchdown in a 42-13 win for the Ducks over the Golden Gophers.
“I think from pregame I hadn’t felt that good in a really long time,” Sadiq said. “I think having some time off allowed me to get my feet back under myself, my body felt right again. I knew I was ready to go from the get-go. I think everyone knew that.”
Sadiq made a diving 23-yard catch to setup Oregon’s first touchdown of the night. He added catches for 20, 18, 14 and 12 yards as well as a three-yard
