RANCHO CUCAMONGA — Whether you were at Rancho Cucamonga High in person or watching on television, you knew it was pouring rain throughout Friday night’s CIF-Southern Section Division 2 football quarterfinal.
The statistics, however, seemed to tell another story, like maybe it was only raining when Rancho Cucamonga had the ball.
Top-seeded Murrieta Valley didn’t turn the ball over once while Rancho Cucamonga lost four fumbles and Murrieta Valley won, 26-6.
