Council for the Rural Municipality of Hanover has denied a request for a shed that is more than double the legal height.
The request came for a residence along Parkview Bay in Blumenort. Council learned that the applicants wanted to build a two-level accessory storage building on their property. The height of the proposed shed exceeds the maximum wall height that is allowed by Hanover's Zoning Bylaw. The maximum wall height allowed is 10 feet, while the proposed structure has a wall height of 20 feet and three inches.
Hanover Administration told Council that the proposed structure is located along a rear property line that backs onto the Blumenort Park.
