Our Saturday will start dry, but all bets are off tonight. We’re tracking rain moving in.

Much of this Saturday morning and afternoon will feature mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies here in Greater Boston. High temperatures will be in the mid 40s.

Late this afternoon, clouds will increase all ahead of a frontal system that will push rain over the southern New England by tonight, likely after 7 or 8 p.m. The rain could be heavy at times, but no severe weather is expected.

Rain will continue overnight tonight into early Sunday morning. Much of the rain will likely exit the region before sunrise Sunday. We could see between a quarter and one-half inch of rain. Be careful if you must drive in the rain tonight.
