New Delhi: There is more trouble for the Al-Falah University, which is at the centre of NIA’s investigation into the deadly Red Fort car blast.
Its membership already suspended by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Faridabad-based university in Haryana faces two FIRs registered by Delhi Police Crime Branch. ADVERTISEMENT
One FIR pertains to allegations of cheating, and the second one under sections related to forgery. The police cases came after the University Grants Commission (UGC) filed a complaint against Al-Falah University.
Also, Delhi Police issued a notice to Al-Falah University, seeking several documents as part of the probe into the ‘white collar’ terror module — allegedly supported by the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind — busted last week.
