WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews are responding to an incident in Waterbury on Saturday morning.

Officials have reported a water main break involving a six inch pipe in the area of Dallas Avenue.

The road is closed from Wolcott Street to Newbury Street while repairs are underway at this time.

According to the Water Department, they estimate that between 25 and 50 homes in the area may temporarily lose water service.

No further details were released.
