MANGALURU: Six people died and at least four others were injured in two separate accidents on the outskirts of Mangaluru on Saturday. While four died on the spot, two died in hospital.
In the first incident, a Toyota Innova car crashed into the NG Circle roundabout on B C Road in Bantwal late on Friday night. The car was travelling from Bengaluru to Udupi when it collided with the roundabout.
Three people, including Ravi (64), Ramya (23), and Nanjamma (75), all residents of Peenya in Bengaluru, died in the accident. Four others, including Keerthi, Susheela, Bindu, and Prashant, were seriously injured. The driver, Subramanya, and another person, Kiran, sustained minor injuries.
