CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A man is dead after a shooting late Friday night in Uptown Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Police said just before 11 p.m., officers responded to a call for a crash with injuries at the intersection of 7th Street and Davidson Street. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police have not made any arrests.
