BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Voters across Louisiana are headed to the polls for the November 15 election.

Polling places opened at 7 a.m. and will remain open until 8 p.m. As long as you are in line to vote by 8 p.m., you will be allowed to cast your ballot.

According to the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office, 34 parishes in the state have items to vote far. Locally, people living in East Baton Rouge Parish, West Baton Rouge Parish, Ascension Parish, Livingston Parish, and Tangipahoa Parish are deciding on races and propositions.
