Agartala, 15 th November 2025: The state unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued a strong statement condemning what it describes as widespread attacks and intimidation by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters in various parts of the state following the results of the Bihar election.
According to the statement, the CPI(M) alleges that BJP workers, emboldened by the victory of their party’s candidate from the 14th Dhanpur Assembly constituency, launched assaults and vandalized property belonging to opposition activists.
The CPI(M) claimed that incidents of violence occurred across several areas, particularly in Dhanpur, Kalamchoura, and Maheshkhola. The party accuses BJP supporters of attacking CPI(M) offices, ransacking homes of opposition workers,
