MP Adnan Hussain has quit Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana’s political party over “persistent infighting” and alleged “veiled prejudice” against Muslim men in it.

Hussain, the MP for Blackburn resigned from Your Party on Thursday, two weeks before its conference in Liverpool.

His departure comes amid a feud in the party over how it handles funds following extraordinary clashes between its interim leader, Corbyn, and Sultana.

On Thursday, Corbyn shared his vision for the party, which is planning a leadership election in the new year, in a post on his social media, which was only signed by him.
