Severe storms and heavy rain expected Thursday

Austin and Central Texas are bracing for a significant change in the weather pattern in the coming week, marked by a Weather Impact Alert issued for next Thursday, Nov. 20. The system is expected to bring widespread, potentially strong storms, significant rainfall totals and much cooler temperatures.

The primary risk window for severe weather runs from approximately 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday.
