CHELMSFORD, Mass. —
A man was arrested on Friday morning for allegedly exposing himself to both customers and staff at a Chelmsford, Massachusetts Walmart.
Jason J. Ruggs, 32, of Lawrence, was charged with open and gross lewdness, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
The alleged incident occurred at the Walmart on Parkhurst Road around 9:49 a.m.
According to Chelmsford police, customers at the store alerted officers that Ruggs had exposed himself multiple times.
He fled the area before police arrived.
Officers Landon Johnson, Christopher Robinson, and Riley O’Keefe located Ruggs on foot near the Lowell city line a short time later, according to authorities.
He was taken into custody without incident and will be arraigned Monday in Lowell District Court.
