DODGE CITY, Kan. (WIBW) - A Kansas Highway Patrol trooper was arrested following a domestic violence investigation.

According to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, on July 2, the Dodge City Police Department requested the KBI investigate an off-duty KHP trooper and allegations of domestic violence.

The alleged incidents occurred over the span of several months, which led up to the start of the investigation.

On Friday Nov. 14, KBI agents served an arrest warrant for Dillion Keller, 34, of Dodge City, at his home around 8:50 p.m. on Friday Nov. 14.

Keller was arrested in connection with:

One count of kidnapping

One count of forgery

Two counts of criminal threat

Two counts of domestic battery

Keller was booked into the Ford County Jail.

The KBI expects the case will be prosecuted
