Miriam Nicholson, president of the Bloomfield Public Library Board, asked Bloomfield Borough Council at its Nov. 4 meeting to release the borough’s budgeted donation and delivered a letter accepting new lease terms.
She requested that lease or facility issues be relayed directly to the board after reports that the borough building had been found unlocked on several occasions.
Solicitor Isaac Wakefield said he will bring a short amendment in December to clarify expectations for weed control and related upkeep along sidewalks and curbs, with council to consider authorizing advertisement.
