Baltimore police are investigating a fatal shooting on Saturday morning in East Baltimore.
Officers were called to the 1900 block of Greenmount Avenue around 11:41 a.m. after a ShotSpotter alert, police said. When they arrived, they found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Medics took the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Homicide detectives responded and are leading the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2100.
