Strictly Come Dancing pro Carlos Gu was left in floods of tears after hearing the judge's comments as he stuck up for his celebrity partner Karen Carner.

The duo were scored 31 points by the judges after dancing to You Don’t Own Me by Saygrace featuring G-Eazy.

Anton Du Beke said: "It was a little brittle this dance...I want this beautiful, breathy, flowy, lyrical motion. It's got to be fluid."

Craig Revel Horwood agreed: "It was a little spiky...you need a lot more expression in your arms and hand...you need to soften everything out."
