Michigan football may have lost running back Jordan Marshall vs. Northwestern at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Saturday, Nov. 15.
The redshirt freshman was having a dominant day, with 142 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. But on a 24-yard run early in the fourth quarter, with U-M trailing, 22-21, he was taken down, landing on his right shoulder. Marshall stayed down, rolling onto his back in obvious pain. After a few minutes, he walked off the field under his own power, clearly favoring his right arm.
The Wolverines were already shorthanded at running back, with star Justice Haynes out indefinitely with a foot injury. FOLLOW ALONG: Michigan football vs Northwestern live updates, score at Wrigley Field
