GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) - A Marion woman has been arrested in connection with a Grant County overdose death.

According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the Marion Police Department, Marion Fire Department, and Marion Health EMS responded to the 1000 block of West 10th Street on October 27 on a possible overdose.

Officials say that despite lifesaving measures, a 26-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene.

Due to indications that the death may have been overdose-related, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office‘s J.E.A.N. Team Drug Task Force responded and assumed investigative responsibility.
