PITTSBURGH (WNDU) - The ninth-ranked Notre Dame football team picked up its eighth win in a row on Saturday afternoon after taking down No. 22 Pittsburgh 37-15.
Malachi Fields caught two touchdowns while Jeremiyah Love ran for 147 yards on 23 carries and had a spectacular 56-yard spin move touchdown .
The Irish defense held the Panthers (7-3) to just 219 total yards. They four sacks and two interceptions, both of which were returned for scores (a touchdown and a two-point conversion).
Notre Dame (8-2) will host Syracuse next Saturday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. right here on WNDU.
