WASHINGTON — YouTube prankster Jack Doherty was arrested in the Miami, Florida area Saturday on drug-related charges, according to the Miami Beach Police Department.
Police say the 22-year-old creator "intentionally stepped into the middle of Washington Avenue to film content" around 3:12 a.m. Saturday. They said he blocked traffic and created a "dangerous situation."
He was arrested after refusing to leave the road, shouting "once I’m done with this bet" in response to police orders, according to police.
He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and resisting an officer without violence, according to arrest records obtained by NBC News. The charging documents accuse him of possessing amphetamine.
