A teen boy was critically injured in a Saturday afternoon shooting in the Roseland neighborhood, according to Chicago police.
The boy, 15, got into an argument with an unknown gunman just before 12:40 p.m. in the 9200 block of South LaSalle Street, police said. The gunman then pulled out a firearm and shot the boy in the chest.
The boy was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
Police said no suspects are in custody and detectives are investigating.
