CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — Quarterback Scott Ballentine threw for 328 yards and four touchdowns to help the DePauw Tigers win their fourth consecutive Monon Bell game over Wabash on Saturday.
On a cloudy but warm afternoon on the campus of Wabash College, both the Tigers and Little Giants entered the 131st Monon Bell game with just one loss each and a potential trip to the Division III football postseason on the line.
Wabash got on the board first after an 8-yard touchdown run by Xavier Tyler, but it was all DePauw from that moment on.
The Tigers scored 28 unanswered points in the first half, holding Wabash to just their opening score.
