2Q : Texas Tech begins the second quarter by handing it off to WR Reggie Virgil for his first touchdown of the game, giving Texas Tech a 21-0 lead.

A holding call in the end zone on the Red Raiders gives UCF its first point of the game with a safety. Texas Tech continues to dominate, 21-2, with 10 minutes until halftime.
