HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — The City of Henderson, Ky. Government hosted a Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the JFK Center on November 15, offering a free meal to celebrate the holiday.

More than 100 people attended the event at 515 South Alvesia Street.

Over 15 turkeys and hams were smoked by a local BBQ shop for attendees to enjoy.

Desserts and decorations were provided as multiple families came together to enjoy the meal.
