Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a phone call to discuss a wide range of Middle East developments, with a strong focus on Gaza, Iran’s nuclear programme, and the situation in Syria, the Kremlin confirmed on Saturday.
“President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Israel @netanyahu had a telephone conversation,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"There was an exchange of views on the situation in the Middle East in light of the agreement on ceasefire and the exchange of detained persons," the ministry added.
