All five of the Akron-area teams still playing in the Ohio High School Athletic Association football playoffs will remain in Northeast Ohio for regional finals, according to the brackets on the OHSAA website.
The Division II, Region 5 showdown between No. 1 seed Hoban (10-1) and No. 2 seed Walsh Jesuit (10-1) will take place at Bearcat Stadium in Bedford, and the Division II, Region 6 final between No. 1 Highland (12-0) and No. 3 Avon (11-1) will be played at Brunswick's Auto Mart Stadium.
In other games, No. 2 CVCA (11-0) will play No. 4 Villa Angela-St. Joseph (10-1) in the Division III, Region 9 final at Twinsburg Tiger Stadium and No. 3 Mogadore (11-1) will face No. 1 McDonald (12-0) in the Division VII, Region 25 final at Macedonia's Boliantz Stadium.
