Zyanna Walker had a slow start to her time with the Colorado Buffaloes.

A foot injury prevented the Kansas State transfer from practicing for a much of the preseason. She didn’t play in the Buffs’ exhibition game and then played just six minutes off the bench in a season-opening win against New Mexico on Nov. 6.

Walker proved on Wednesday night, however, she’s not only healthy, but has the potential to be a star this season for the Buffs, who host Portland State on Sunday.
