Linda Snyder Crockett said she knows it’s the right time to retire from running her third-generation Longmont jewelry store. After nearly 55 years of working at her family business, she said she’s ready to step away from watching over precious stones to spend more time with her family.
She also knows that saying goodbye to the loyal customers who have stood by Snyder Jewelers for decades won’t be easy.
Snyder Crockett said that although her family isn’t in the business with her anymore, “my family’s become the people who have come in and supported us.”
With her retirement, the store will also close its doors after 77 years in business.
