A Fairbanks police investigation revealed that five men were operating an illegal gaming enterprise at locations at 510 Old Steese Highway and 1521 Stacia Street. The Old Steese Highway location is next to VIP Cleaners and is not associated with the business.
According to court documents, Fairbanks police were conducting business checks of late-night businesses on Monday. Officers found identical casino-style "fish table" machines and "Fire Kirin" gambling games at the two locations.
Fairbanks police executed search warrants around 10:30 p.m. Friday and arrested the five men.
