The battle of attrition in college football has become just as important to a national title run as having the talent to win one. The Buckeyes already have the latter, and the former is being tested against UCLA.

They’re already down Carnell Tate , who’s missing his second straight week after being a pregame scratch against Purdue. Jeremiah Smith and CJ Donaldson popped up as questionable on the pregame availability report, with the Donaldson yet to see the field.
