GUILFORD, Conn. — Two men were arrested and charged on Thursday in connection to a July armed robbery at a gas station in Guilford , the town’s police department said in a news release Friday.
Joseph Quinn, 52, of East Haven, was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace.
The court set a $200,000 bond, but Quinn was already incarcerated for previous crimes, so he was released to judicial marshals.
On July 14, Guilford police responded to an armed robbery at the Phillips 66 in the 1000 block of Boston Post Road.
Police Chief Christopher Massey alleges Quinn walked inside the convenience store, brandishing a long knife while demanding money and threatening to kill the clerk.
