DERBY, Connecticut — Animal control officials are asking the public for help in their investigation into a dog that was found dead in a men's suit duffle bag along 6th Street in Derby .
The dog is described as an "unneutered male, mix of pit bull/frenchie/boston terrier that is mainly tan with white patches on the body and face, medium sized, last seen wearing a nylon black collar with a piece of zip tie connected to it," according to a Facebook post from Shelton Animal Control.
The public is asked to send tips to to Shelton Animal Control at 203-924-2501 or Derby Police Department at 203-735-7811, and can remain anonymous.
