: Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Saturday unfurled a 100-foot-high flag post bearing the national tricolour at Barakundan under Kibithu circle in Anjaw district, close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Calling the installation a historic and deeply emotional moment, Mein said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to accelerating development in the state’s border areas.

“It is a historic occasion and an emotional moment for me. The government is committed to bringing rapid development to the border regions. The tricolour will inspire an even stronger sense of patriotism among villagers who have always remained steadfast in their love for the nation,” he said.
