A day after announcing she had cut ties with her family and their party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Rohini Acharya has alleged that she was subjected to humiliation, including abusive language, an attempt to assault her with a slipper and her kidney being called “dirty". She said she refused to compromise on her self-respect or abandon the truth, claiming this was the reason she faced such behaviour.
