SALT LAKE CITY — The Runnin’ Utes improved to 4-0 on the year with an 85-79 win over the Sam Houston Bearkats at the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Saturday.
Terrance Brown once again led the way for Utah. He finished with 26 points, making it three straight games with 20 or more. Three other Utes scored in double figures.
Utah led by as much as 20 in the second half, but the Bearkats came storming back to make things interesting late.

If you check the box score, it isn’t hard to see why this ended as a six-point game.
Utah shot and made twice as many free throws and outrebounded the Bearkats. However, they had more turnovers, which led to advantages in points off turnovers, fastbreak points, and points in the paint for Sam Houston
