FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno State battled through the elements to get a gritty 24-3 win over Wyoming.
The Bulldogs improve to 7-3 on the season and 4-2 in Mountain West play, keeping alive the team's chances of making the Mountain West Championship Game on December 5.
Fresno State scored on the first possession of the game when Bryson Donelson capped a 73-yard, 10-play drive with a 12-yard rushing touchdown. The sophomore out of Central Valley Christian finished with 45 yards.
Wyoming responded on its first possession but had to settle for a 41-yard field goal. The score would remain 7-3 until the final minute of the first half.
Tytus Khajavi, a freshman linebacker out of Clovis West, logged his first career sack. The 14-yard loss on third down forced the Cowboys to punt it away.
