Nitish Kumar will reportedly continue as the Chief Minister of Bihar, with the new National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government expected to be formed within the next three days. The cabinet-sharing arrangement was finalised during a meeting between Kumar and Home Minister Amit Shah, according to sources cited in an NDTV report.

The swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held on Wednesday or Thursday, subject to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s availability, it has been learnt from the report.

Preparations have, meanwhile, begun at Gandhi Maidan in Patna for the event, which will mark Kumar’s tenth term as Chief Minister.
