No. 1 Oak Knoll completed its season undefeated against in-state competition when it defeated No. 3 Camden Catholic 5-0 in the NJSIAA Non-Public state final in Bordentown on Saturday.
The Royals jumped out to a 2-0 lead on a pair of first period goals and added two more in the second quarter, before Phoebe Laferriere’s breakaway, fourth quarter goal that set the final score at 5-0.
It marked the 13th straight finals appearance for Oak Knoll and the sixth year in a row that it played Camden Catholic in the Non-Public final.
