Veteran actor Prem Chopra was discharged from the Lilavati Hospital on Saturday night. The 90-year-old was admitted to the Mumbai hospital on November 8 for chest congestion and other age-related ailments.

His son-in-law, actor Vikas Bhalla, confirmed the news to India Today. He said, “He is back home and is doing hale and hearty.”

Vikas had earlier shared with us that Prem Chopra was admitted to the hospital for precautionary measures and was never critical. He said doctors had advised him hospitalisation after he developed a chest infection and because of his existing heart condition.
