Veteran Bollywood actor Prem Chopra has been discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after a week-long stay for breathing-related health concerns. The 90-year-old star was admitted on November 8 after he experienced difficulty in breathing, and was reportedly treated for chest congestion.
Doctors Confirm Pre-Existing Heart Condition
According to media reports, doctors at Lilavati Hospital clarified that while Chopra had developed a viral infection affecting his lungs, he was never in a critical state. The actor also has a pre-existing heart condition, which required the medical team to keep him under close observation for several days due to his age and overall health.
The family later confirmed that Chopra responded positively to treatment and had recovered
