A woman from Glasgow who survived the Blitz has celebrated turning 100 by writing a memoir. ‌

Nancy Barr, who was born in the north of the city in 1925, decided to share her life story by compiling a book full of her wartime memoirs . ‌

From her house being blown apart, to meeting her husband in the Albert Ballroom, Nancy took to her laptop after her children bought it for her as a present. ‌

Nancy has since created a book, The Writings of Bessie and Nancy, which is listed on Amazon - and she's already sold over 200 copes.
