Grading the Penn State football team on its 28-10 win over Michigan State Saturday at Spartan Stadium:
Quarterbacks
B: Ethan Grunkemeyer made the prettiest deep throw of the season by a Penn State passer and didn’t turn it over for the first time in his four starts.
Running backs
A: Kaytron Allen rushed for a career-high 181 yards and two TDs and Nick Singleton chipped in 56 yards as the Lions set a season high on the ground.
Receivers
B: Devonte Ross had two catches for 79 yards and two TDs but the tight ends had no receptions on a day when Penn State threw 13 passes.
Offensive linemen
B: They wore down the Michigan State defensive line with 139 rushing yards in the fourth quarter in one of their best efforts of the season.
