The Laundromat Project is now accepting applications for its 2026 Create Change program, inviting New York City–based artists, organizers, neighbors and cultural workers to explore how art can spark social connection plus transformation through community-centered practice.
This year’s Create Change initiative offers three unique opportunities:
Create Change Fellowship (March – September 2026)
A six-month incubator for artists and cultural producers committed to art as a catalyst for social impact. Fellows receive a $1,500 stipend, production funds and mentorship to co-develop projects with community partners, culminating in presentations at Field Day 2026.
Create Change Residency (March 2026 – December 2027)
