TRAVERSE CITY — A shelter-in-place advisory was lifted Saturday night after two suspects were taken into custody following a shooting during a foot chase, according to the Traverse City Police Department.
According to a Nov. 16 news release, officers were dispatched at 10:07 p.m. Nov. 15 to the 1200 block of E 8th St for a report of larceny from auto. The suspects were described as wearing hoodies and masks and walking westbound from the area.
Officers later found two individuals matching that description in a parking lot in the 100 block of Munson Ave. Police said the individuals fled on foot when officers made contact. During the chase, one suspect pulled a firearm and fired several shots at pursuing officers. No injuries were reported, though a round struck the pant leg of a Traverse
