A shooting claimed the life of man whose body was discovered when police were called to a location in northern Brampton.

Peel Regional Police said officers, who are now looking for suspects, were called Saturday at around 7:15 p.m. at Loafers Lake Lane- Conestoga Dr. area, near Sandlewood Pkwy. and Hurontario St.

After arriving, police found the male shooting victim, who was declared deceased at the scene.

CTV News reported that paramedics said a young man had died and no other injuries were reported.

Detectives said they believe this is an isolated incident and urged anyone with information to come forward.
