SIOUX CITY, Iowa — William Clark Jr., 40 of Story City, received a 108-month federal prison sentence after pleading pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Federal prosecutors say from January to April 2024, Clark Jr. and two accomplices were involved in distributing at least half a pound of methamphetamine and over 1,500 fentanyl pills.
On April 21, 2024, they attempted to evade law enforcement during a high-speed chase, discarding 1,500 fentanyl pills in the process. Clark Jr. made false 911 calls to mislead authorities.
Sentenced by Judge Leonard T. Strand, Clark Jr. will also serve four years of supervised release post-imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal system. He remains in U.S. Marshal custody pending transport to a federal prison.
